Why do you practice triathlon ?

I started following the tracks of my father and my brother. I enjoy a lot triathlon training and it provides me strong feelings in competition.

I’m currently a professional triathlete, I appreciate this way of life, outside the usual working lifestyle. I manage to feel free and independent, it means I’m well surrounded!

What is the best LD Triathlon you ever raced ?

The Gerardmer XL Triathlon for the atmosphere and the Alpe d’Huez Long Distance triathlon for the stunning landscapes.

Which LD Triathlon do you dream of ?

Ironman Hawaii for the athlete density and the myth it represents.

Which LD Triathlon do you dream of for the swim?

I didn’t have the chance to swim in paradisiac places. However, I have a strong memory of Miami Triathlon Nautica (Short distance) where we’ve been lucky to see a ray passing just under us. Amazing!

Which LD Triathlon do you dream of for the bike circuit?

Without any doubt the 2013 ITU World Championship in Belfort. Thanks to an extraordinary feeling of ease, I could use the fog, the cold and the hilly bike course to get and advantage of 3 minutes on Bozzone and Bockel.

Which LD Triathlon do you dream of for the run circuit?

I enjoyed a lot the run circuit of Ironman 70.3 San Juan in Porto Rico : it’s a hilly race through the old city and alongside the harbour ramparts. It offers a magnificent panoramas of Caribbean Islands and a real contraste.

What do you generally expect from a LD Triathlon?

Right now, as I’m focused on performance, I’m interested in priority by the quality of the starting list.

Then, security aspect is my second priority; it must be perfect if the event wants to see me back next year. For exemple, I won’t be back to Ironman 70.3 Panama, too dangerous in the 2014 edition.

At last, I consider the panoramas and the quality of the road.
